| i got a really tight bike for free, all i had to do was think positively. now i can turn my free spirit in to a fixed gear, as soon as I'm done building a bike for ida.

| so many robberies and freak accidents have happened to people i know lately. i guess it was only a matter of time before it happened to me. i'd been nervous about something bad happening to me, which probably wasn't a very positive way of thinking. but of course something did happen. i lock my car no matter what because i know i'll at least have my c.d. player and 50 dollars worth of paint in there at all times. my mom on the other hand never locks her car door, even when i have my new Nikon D70, my 35mm, and my boyfriends 250 dollar skates in there. but of course neither of my cameras were taken, just travis' beat up performance blades.
i've been watching a a lot of csi lately, so it was't hard for me to profile the bad guy. i knew that it was some spoiled little shawnee mission north kid that likes to start drama like this because he think he "rolls so hard". it wasn't some thug that went threw my moms and every body elses cars that were unlocked on my street that night. no, because the only thing taken was a pair of goddamn "trick" roller skates.
moral of the story, don't get freaked out when some one steals from you. just assume it was some one you've had in to your house and offered hospitality to many times, just assume it was some one you grew up with, just assume its the last person on earth that you'd figure would steal out from you. little bastard.

| i broke down and put my nalgene in the dishwasher today, with detergent and every things. i don't even know what that means, its seems like it should mean something though. maybe its a new found sign of maturity. or desperation.
